Anonymous asked: I was wondering if u can blog about ur every day face regimen?!
Hi there :)
Sure :) I’ll do it once I get home from vacation ;)
Aside from buying clothes (H&M!! :D) and pasalubongs, one cannot fully enjoy his/her shopping experience in Hong Kong without buying some skincare, make-up and a other knick knacks :D
Hong Kong is filled with cosmetic stores that sell hundreds of different brands. Wherever you go, there will always be a Sasa, Bonjour, Colourmix and/or Watsons store just around the corner ;)
So I did a little shopping myself. Been to a couple of these stores and voilà! Here’s what I got:

—————————
Got myself this Skin79 Miniature BB cream set that I have been eyeing on for like, forever, but was too expensive in online stores (around 500-700php). Got it for only 49HKD which is roughly about 272php :D

Richenna Bubble Haircolor in Wine Red (59hkd- 354php). I dunno. I just feel like coloring my hair red (again) :))

EOS lip balm in Honeysuckle honeydew (40HKD- 240php). The smell of this lip balm has a nostalgic effect on me. It smells like that strawberry ice cream candy back in grade school, that comes in a tube, that you squeeze out and eat with a tiny cone. You know what I’m saying?? Right?! Ok, nevermind.

Masks from Sasa’s own brand (I think), Sasatinnie. Each box comes with 2 masks. Each box costs 9.9HKD (about 60php)

Pupa Diva’s Lashes Mascara. I think Pupa is an Italian Brand (since the packaging says it’s “made in Italy” XD). I forgot how much this one costs because I threw the box away since the boxes occupied too much space in my luggage.

Gatsby Moving Rubber wax. I couldn’t find this product in any store here in the Philippines so I was so excited when I saw this at Sasa :)) It’s basically an awesome hair wax with great styling abilities :))

Clinique liquid facial soap. Bought it for some unknown reason :))) maybe because it’s small and cute and easy to carry around but I do already have facial soaps that would last me for almost 5 months :)))

More facial soaps :))
The Face Shop Herb Day 365 Aloe Cleansing foam. I have 4 of these, actually. Gave one tube to my mom and the other tube, I’m currently using myself. Got 4 of these guys for 100hkd (600php) :)

Another The Face Shop cleansing foam. But this time, It’s in Spearmint. I liked the Idea of that cool, tingling feeling on your face after you wash it, so I bought this one. Later did I found out that this one has “For MAN” written on it. Boo-Hoo. Oh well. That’s what you get for not reading labels before buying things. Planning to give this one to my brother, or my dog :))

Fell in love with this Estee Lauder Eyeshadow palette. The colors are all so pretty and it’s very small and easy to carry around.

Read a lot of great reviews on this product before so I wanted to give it a try :) Got the Darkest shade which is Beige Ocre :)

**Oops! forgot to take pictures of the Avene whitening lotion satchets that I bought (Those little white sheet-thingies in the first picture) :))
That’s about it! If you have any questions and commentaries, you can leave me a message HERE :)
Goodbye, Beautiful people of Tumblr :) Till my next post ;)

My brother and I spent 4 days and 3 nights, touring this land of intriguing contrasts.
Now, its time to summarize the whole trip with a bunch of photographs :D
Here it goes ;)

Such a picturesque view ~

Drinking hot cocoa at HKIA’s Mccafe while waiting for our flight home :)

I’m kinda fond of travelling without my parents especially when I studied in Baguio for a year. So somehow, getting lost in the streets of Hong Kong was not a big deal (sorta XD). This bro-sis bonding time was such a great experience :D I wonder where our next trip would be? hmm :))
Will post some videos from the trip and also, photos of my mini haul (Hong Kong is a make-up lover’s wonderland :D)
Till next time ;)

Anonymous asked: I need your help May i know where'd u get your perfect sunscreen beauty credit? meron sa sm? and and can u suggest any good concealer? or what's best among the concealers you've used sofar?
Hi :)
I bought the Beauty Credit Perfect Sunscreen at Watsons in SM the Block. Concealer? I have been using the Stila perfecting concealer for quite some time now and so far, its my favorite concealer. It covers dark acne marks so well. The Surprise concealer from Etude House is great for covering dark circles around the eyes because it doesn’t sink in the crevices of the skin.
Hope this helps :)
Anonymous asked: Hi I was wondering if you've tried missha m perfect cover and etude house precious mineral bb cream?? Can u tell which one is better??? and worth buying.
Hello there :)
In my opinion, The Missha M Perfect Cover suites me better. I have oily/combination skin and I have a few acne marks and scars in my face. I have been using it for almost a year now and I must say, it improved the condition of my skin. It helped fade dark scars and it even whitened my skin. It also has spf 42 so I don’t have to apply sunblock beforehand. One thing I hate about it is that it has a very weak oil-control ability. Touch-ups may be needed after a couple of hours. But all in all,The Missha BB cream offers great coverage and that’s what I’m looking for in a BB cream. Although the Etude House Precious Mineral BB cream does provide great coverage as well and even has superb oil-controlling properties ( I have a review on it here), it broke me out. But then again, not all products work the same on different people and what may be a bad product for me, may be a holy grail product for others. These are just statements based on my experiences w/ the two products :)
Hope this helps you decide which BB cream to buy. Good Luck :)
shimmerjjang asked: Gotta love your cute blog~! Your tutorials are so my style! <3 will wait for more posts from ya. *hugs* - Andy

Yey~! A new make up tutorial! :D (after all this time ^^v)
This make up tutorial was inspired by the make up style of some of Korea’s gorgeous actresses, namely, Han Ye Seul, Park Shin Hye, Song Hye Gyo, Kim Soo Eun and Han Hyo Joo.
Neutral eyeshadows are a staple when going for this look. Also, The whole appearance is kept youthful with a fresh face and a pink or coral pout.

They’re all very beautiful *o*
Ok! Let’s start! :D
——————————————
1.) Cleanse, tone and moisturize :) I used my Celeteque Hydration Face Moisturizer.

2.) To reduce the redness of my face, I used a green face primer. Evenly apply it to your skin.
* Etude House Baby Skin Base

—————————————-
3.) Use concealer to hide blemishes and dark circles around the eyes.
* Stila Perfecting concealer (Shade D) and Etude House Surprise concealer (#2)

————————————-
4.) Set everything w/ some powder. Tap of the excess to avoid making your face look matte and cakey. We still want to maintain a healthy, dewy glow.
* MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation (NW30)

————————————-
5.) Prime your lids with an eyelid primer. This will strengthen the longevity of your eyeshadows.
* E.L.F. eyelid primer

—————————————-
6.) Use a matte light nude eyeshadow and put a wash of color to your lids and to your brow bone.
* Etude House Petit Darling Eyes (#1)

————————————
7.) Apply Shimmery Gold Eyeshadow to your lids. I used my fingers to apply the color. Just pat it gently on your eyes.
* Lancome Tendre Voyage Palette gold eyeshadow

——————————————-
8.) Add dimension to your eyes. Use a bronze eyeshadow and apply it to the crease and outer lids of your eyes. Blend well with a blending brush until harsh lines fade to nothingness.
* Shawill Eyeshadow

————————————-
9.) Apply shimmery gold eyeshadow (lighter shade than the other gold eyeshadow we used before) to the inner corners and middle part of your lower lashline.
* Etude House Orgel light eyeshadow palette

————————————
10.) Line your eyes. Slightly extend it downward.
* Tony Moly Gel liner (Black)

11.) Apply falsies. Use Natural looking ones :)
* Daiso Natural Eyelash

—————————————
13.) Set your eyebrows with some eyebrow gel. Then, define your eyebrows w/ eyebrow powder or eyeshadow.
* NYC Browser Brush-On Brow Kit (Smokey)

————————————-
14.) Use a pretty rosy blush w/ gold shimmers for a healthy, gorgeous glow.
* Nars Blush (Orgasm)

—————————————
15.) Apply highlighter to your cheekbones.
8 Etude House Wanna be lumi-ball highlighter

————————————-
16.) Use a coral or pink lipstick for natural looking lips. This lipstick has gold flecks in it for added glam.

——————————————
17.) Top off w/ some lip gloss.
* Etude House Moon Crystal Power Gloss (#3- Colar prism power)

Summer’s finally here! :D That means it’s vacation time and I have more time to blog! ^o^ but before anything else, let’s look at this simple make up tutorial ;))

I focused on making the look fresh and bright looking. Perfect for summer ^^
Let’s begin! :)
——————————————-
1.) Before putting on make up, apply some sunscreen, to protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun. If your foundation or BB cream already contains a high level of SPF, you can skip this step.
**Beauty Credit Face and Body Perfect Sunscreen

———————————————————-
2.) Apply a small amount of BB cream or foundation to your face. You may use a brush or a sponge.
I used two different shades of Missha BB cream and mixed it together to get a perfect match to my skin tone.
** Missha Perfect cover BB cream (#23 and #31)

—————————————————-
3.) Hide dark circles around your eyes using a concealer.
**Etude House Surprise concealer (#2)

——————————————————-
4.) Buff on some powder to keep your face from being too oily and shiny.
** Etude House BB Magic Pact (#1)

————————————————
5.) Apply a shimmery peachy coral eyeshadow to your lids and to the inner corners of your eyes as well.
**Nature Republic Nature Island Eyeshadow (#8-Orange)

————————————-
6.) apply some shimmery pink eyeshadow on the outer corners of your eyes and blend well with a fluffy eyeshadow brush. This will add subtle definition and dimension to your eyes.
** Etude House Line Nuance Duo (#3 Miss Coral and Cubic Pink line)

————————————————-
7.) Apply the same pink shade to your outer lower lashline.

——————————————-
8.) brighten your eyes more by applying tear drop liner (or any shimmery light eyeshadow) on your lower lashline starting from the inner corners up to the middle part of your lower lashline.
**Etude House Top 10 Tan Tear drop liner

————————————————-
9.) Line your eyes. don’t wing it out.
**Tony Moly Gel liner (Black)

—————————————————
10.) Curl your lashes and apply your favorite mascara.
**Maybelline Great Lash Mascara (blackest black)

——————————————————
11.) Add natural flush to your cheeks with a cheek tint. It’s more lightweight and it’ll stay longer compared to powder blushes. gently pat it on the apples of your cheeks :)
**Etude House Nymph Aura Jelly tint blusher

————————————————-
12.) Apply highlighter on places where light hits your face. Apply sparingly to avoid looking oily.
**Benefit Lust Duster Highlighter (Jelly Roll)

——————————————-
13.) Use a pink lip tint and top it off with some luscious lip gloss.
**Maybelline Color Sensation Lip Stain

** Etude House XOXO lip gloss (one kiss)

Done Done DONE~! :D

Hope y’all liked this tutorial!
Enjoy your summer vacation ;)

여러분, 해피 화이트 데이~! (Happy White Day Everyone ^^)
Prom month’s almost here! :D It’s the perfect opportunity to get all dolled up ;)
To those who are planning to do their own make up but still haven’t decided yet on what look to carry out, here is a simple tutorial for all of you :)
Today’s look is inspired by the captivating eye make up of SNSD’s Tiffany in their latest MV, The Boys :D

(credits to the owners of the photos)
In this look, she focused on making her eyes pop by using shimmery eyeshadows and teardrop liner and I think that this is a great look for prom :)
Hope you’ll enjoy this tutorial ~;)
——————————————————-
Before applying any make up on your face, make sure that you have already cleansed, toned, and moisturized.
Apply foundation/BB cream. Use a brush or a sponge for an even application.

* Etude House BB Magic Cream (Moisturizing type)

——————————————————
Hide dark circles and other imperfections w/ concealer. Gently pat it on your skin.

* Nature Republic Vanilla Sky Stick Concealer (#2)

———————————————————-
Pat on some powder for a long lasting, shine-free look.

* Etude House Precious Mineral BB Compact All Day Strong (Sheer Flawless Skin)

———————————————————-
Eye Make up ~
In the MV, Tiffany actually used gray eyeshadow on her lids. But since I wanted to add more color to this look, I used different shades of pink :)
Apply shimmer baby pink eyeshadow to your lids.

* Etude House Pudding Dia Eyeshadow (#2 Pink Pudding)

————————————————————
Get some pinkish lilac eyeshadow and apply it on your outer lower lashline.

* L’Oreal HIP High Intensity Pigments (#124 Fiery)

———————————————
Thinly line your upper lashline.

Then, extend the line and wing it out in the end.

* Tony Moly Gel liner (#1 Black)

————————————————————-
Apply teardrop liner/very shimmery eyeshadow on the middle part of your lower lashline.

* Etude House Top 10 Tan teardrop liner

————————————————-
Curl you lashes and apply mascara.

—————————————————
Finish of your eye make up by putting on dolly-looking falsies :)

*Falsies from Saizen (really cheap! :D)

——————————————————-
Apply a hint of pink to the apples of your cheeks.
* MAC Mineralized Blush (Dainty)

Define your features by applying highlighter on the bridge of your nose and on your cheeks as well.
* Etude House Wannabe Lumi-Ball highlighter

—————————————————
Apply lip tint on the middle part of your lips and spread evenly to achieve a natural look. Top off w/ some pink lip gloss.

* Dear Darling tint and Peach water gloss (Apricot Water) - Both from Etude House

—————————————————
and the finished look ~~

YEY! :D I was finally able to squeeze in some time to make and post a new make up tutorial! :)
~
This look is perfect for those people , like me, who want to pull off the smokey eye look, but don’t like to use very dark colors :)
Now, let’s get on w/ the tutorial :D
—————————————-
For my base, I used a tinted moisturizer. This one ,from Laura Mercier, provides a nice and natural coverage minus the heavy feel. Blend well with a brush. :)
*Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer spf 20

——————————————-
Hide dark circles and other imperfections by using concealer.
*Stila Perfecting concealer (shade D)

———————————————
Gently brush on some powder to mattify things up :)
*Mac Studio Fix Foundation (NW30)

————————————————-
Accentuate your cheekbones by using either a bronzer or a pressed powder that is 2 shades darker than your skin tone. Make a fish face and apply some product on the hollows of your cheeks.
*Covergirl clean sensitive skin pressed powder (#225- Soft Honey)

—————————————————-
Eye make up! :D Use a matte nude eyeshadow as your base.
*Etude House Petit Darling Eyeshadow (#1- Vanilla)

————————————————-
Apply gold eyeshadow all over your lids.
*Lancome Tendre Voyage Palette Ombre Absolue powder eyeshadow

————————————————
Apply bronzey-brown eyeshadow on your outer lids
*Lancome Tendre Voyage Palette Ombre Absolue powder eyeshadow

——————————————-
Take some chocolate brown eyeshadow and apply it on your outer lids and outer lower lashline ~

Line your upper lashline and waterline with pencil eyeliner.
*Etude House Styling Eye Liner

————————————
Curl your lashes and apply Mascara.
*Etude House Oh~ m’ Eye Lash Mascara (Volume and Longlash)

—————————————————
Any soft pink blush will do :)
*Mac Mineralize Blush (Dainty)

————————————
Add some drama to boring, pasty skin by sporting nude pink lips. I used a Peachy-pink lipstick over lip concealer. :)
*Etude House Orgel Light Ultra Shine Lipstick (Peach Shine)
*Etude House Color Me Nude Lip Concealer

——————————————-
Optional: If you want to look more made up, put on some falsies :D
*Etude House False lashes (Natural)

FINISH~
